Obituary.
Frances Esther Ryen was born February 3, 1919, and died June 8 1919, thus reaching an age of four months and five days. Her death was the result of complications that set in as the result of an attack by the influenza, at --in a spite of all efforts to save the life of the sweet little baby daughter, her pure soul winged its way to its giver--took its flight to the heaven above, where the little on is now with the angelic throng, sweet in the arms of Jesus.
Funeral took place from the Bethlehem church, the services being in charge of Rev. Bjorlie, who gave a very fitting talk on the sweet life that passed awaya in the death of the little one and the mission that it had completed. A solo, "The Beautiful Land On High," was sung by Miss Edith Brown and a duet, "Whispering Hope," sung by the Misses Edith Brown and Mildred Ryen. Little girls, dressed in white, acted as pall bearers. They were Olga Apland, Irene Berhow, Jevern Ersland and Gladys Ryen. Honorary pall bearers were Overetta Bergren and Grace Allemann, who carried bouquets of flowers. Besides the fond parents left to mourn her departure are three little brothers. They are Thurlo, Irving and Carlisle.--Contributed.
