THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, September 20, 2005.

Ann Elizabeth Briley, 62, of Ames, died Saturday, Sept. 17, at Israel Family Hospice House. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Bethesda Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Ontario Cemetery in Ames.

Ann E. Briley was born April 24, 1943, in Webster City to Wayne and Elizabeth (Holland) Taylor. She moved from Williams to Ames in 1965. She was a retail manager at Party Time Rental.
She married David Allan Briley Aug. 15, 1965, at Bethesda Lutheran Church. She was involved with the fellowship board at the church.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Taylor; three daughters, Brenda (David) Leach of Alburnett, Kim (Steve) Snider of West Liberty and Christine (Rodney) Heintz of Ankeny; one brother Richard (Gwen) Taylor of Ames; five grandchildren, Anthony and John, Joshua, Alyssa and Gage.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Adams Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Israel Family Hospice House.
