A. B. Fronsdahl Dies at Woodward

Funeral services for Atlantic Fronsdahl of Woodward were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home in Woodward with Rev. E. R. Rorem of Story City, former Slater pastor, officiating. He took his text from John 6:40.

Casket bearers were Thomas Weeks, Mack Wright, Noah Richards, Walter Seeman, Max Knoll and Ralph Noring.

Interment was in the Woodward Cemetery.

Mr. Fronsdahl was a Slater business man for a number of years, owning and operating the Slater Produce Co. and other enterprises. Although under the terrific handicap of the loss of his eyesight he had the courage and determination to succeed and get ahead in life.

Obituary.

Atlantic Bert Fronsdahl, son of Christopher and Bertha Fronsdahl, was born July 6, 1882, on the Atlantic Ocean, and passed away at his home in Woodward Sunday evening, Apr. 10, after an illness of several weeks

He lived most of his life in the Sheldahl and Slater communities except for a few years spent in the west. He made his home at Woodward for the past 17 years.

On Mar. 18, 1933 he was united in marriage to Ruth Wedel. To this union two sons were born, Alvin of Perry and Robert of Woodward.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and the two boys, include: a daughter-in-law and granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Will Conyers, of Fulton, Ill.; three brothers, Milford of Ames, Martin of Boone, and Chester, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Those from Slater attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. W. B. McBride, Carl Torgerson, Thomas Weeks, Randall Reinertson and Wm. Weeks. Others there from a distance were from Eagle Grove, Ames, Nevada, Grimes, Fulton, Ill., and Fremont, Minn.
