Obituary
Sarah Fredrica Alm, daughter of F. W. and Christina Alm was born at Ogden, Ia., May 14, 1882 and died at her home, Ames, Ia. Oct 23, 1904 aged 22 yrs. 5 mo and 8 days. She leaves a sorrowing father and mother and two brothers, Charles and Arvid. She was a believer in the Lutheran faith and lived a consistent life as an ardent lover of the true Christian character. She was a faithful member of the Rebekah lodge which organization continued the funeral services at the grave. The funeral was conducted by Rev F. D. Ferrall at the home in south Ames Tuesday Afternoon Oct. 25 at 2 o'clock. The interment was made in the new Ames cemetery. Miss Alm was a sufferer for almost four years but during the last four weeks of her earthly life she was an intense sufferer. However, throughout all she was cheerful and uncomplaining, kind and obedient to her parents and had a large circle of friends whom she gracefully continued to hold as such. Her relatives have the sincerest sympathy of all. She is at rest.
The out of town relatives who attended the funeral of Sarah Alm were: Mrs. A. F. Peteerson, sister of Mr. Alm, her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Britt and two children all of Chicago, and Charles Alm and daughter Marion and son, Raymond of Ogden.
