Final Services For Mrs. Lester Arrasmith
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Lester Arrasmith prominent Zearing woman who passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon, Feb. 12, from the Evangelical United Brethren church in Zearing with the Rev. Carlyle Smith officiating assisted by Rev. Dunnert.
Music was furnished by a quartet, composed of Glenn McBride, Carroll Bailey, Eldon Crain and Dale Johnston, and Mrs. Walter Lund, pianist.
The many and beautiful flowers were cared for and arranged by Mrs. Glenn McBride and Mrs. Clara Clatterbuck.
Casket bearers were Joe Roche, Albert Crain, Hillis Crain, Brantley Jones, Aaron Buffington and William McBride.
Alta Leora Arrasmith was born April 22, 1909, at Clyde, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Barbee.
On July 20, 1927, she was married to Lester Arrasmith at Ankeny, Iowa, and to this union was born one son, Larry.
Surviving are the husband, Lester, one son, Larry, four sisters, Mrs. Leona Richardson of Cambridge, Mrs. Eva Franklin of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Inez Royse of Fredericksburg, Ind., and Mrs. Grace Cleverley of Baxter, and one brother, Leon Barbee of Des Moines, besides a host of relatives and friends.
