“RANSOM COOPER PASSES AWAY. – Ransom Cooper, 91 passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Ridgway southeast of Collins Monday afternoon, where he had made his home the past two years. He is survived by seven daughters and three sons, the daughters being Mrs. Vera Huffaker and Mrs. Mary Oxley of Maxwell, Mrs. Zella Brown and Mrs. Hazel Ridgway of Collins, Mrs. Alice Stenson of Des Moines, Mrs. Ila Barney of Siren, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Ola Olson of Webster, Wisconsin. The sons are Roy of Webster, Wisconsin, Ira of Frederick, Wisconsin and Byron of Waterloo. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Edna Stone of Maxwell, 33 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Mrs. Cooper passed away four years ago. Funeral services were held from the Collins Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon with Rev. Frank Sutton officiating.
