Obituary.

Cora May Huntington.

Cora May Newton was born March 5, 1878, near Thomasville, Neb., and died near Casper, Wyoming, Jan 15, 1907 being 28 years, 10 months and 10 days. Her father, James T. Newton, passed to the great beyond, when she was but four months old. At the age of one year she came with her mother to Story county, which was her home 'till in February 1888, when she moved with her mother and stepfather, Charles Wills, to Trenton, Neb., where they lived until February 1894. Then they moved to Columbus, Mo., and lived there nearly a year. She went to Guide Rock, Neb., where she was united in marriage to George W. Huntington, on December 14, 1897. They moved to Story county where they made their home until October, 1905, then they moved to Casper, Wyoming, and lived there until her death.

To this union was born three children, James Calvin, Locie May, and Charles Lester. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, a dutiful daughter and loving sister. She leaves to mourn her hoss a sorrowing husband and three small children. Also a mother, one brother of Esterbrook, Wyoming, and a brother and sister, Jesse M. Wills and Belle Purvis of near Cambridge. Besides these she leaves a stepfather, three step-brothers, three step-sisters and an aged grandmother and other near relatives of Guide Rock, Neb. also a host of friends here and at Casper.

The funeral services were held Saturday, January 19, at the Walnut Grove Methodist church near the Will home, five miles northwest of Cambridge. A large number of the old friends attended the service and even though it was a very disagreeable day many followed to the Cambridge cemetery to lend courage to the bereaved family as the body was lowered to its final resting place. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Victor West of the Cambridge Methodist church.
