Funeral Services for Nevada Woman

Mrs. Verne Fahan, age about 29 years, died at Iowa Sanitarium Sunday morning at 11:00, following an emergency operation on Friday.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Morfoot Funeral home. The body will be taken to Fort Dodge Wednesday morning for interment.

She leaves her mother Mrs. Colwell and a daughter Helen May Martin, age about 10 years.

The family has been living in Nevada for some time and deceased was quite well known, especially among the people of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Sylvia Verne "Verne" Dennis, daughter of Roland/Rolland Dennis and Mary/May Ball, was born 30 September, 1894 in Chariton, Iowa and married (1) Francis Martin on 14 June 1918 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa and (2) Joseph Leroy Fahan on 20 February 1929 in Nevada, Story County, Iowa.
