Former Ames Man Died Wednesday

George Scarbrough, 59, died at the Story county home at 10:30 Wednesday night as a result of an attack of pneumonia.

Scarbrough, former employee in an Ames printing establishment, came to the county home about the first of January. His mother had died at the same institution about a month ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Bishop Funeral home in Nevada, after which the body will be taken to Stanberry, Mo. for burial by the side of the mother. The service will be in charge of Rev. C. E. Lookingbill.

Besides the sister in Washington, there are brothers in Ottumwa and Chicago.
