Jacobson Child Dead; Funeral on Monday

Gilbert, Feb. 10--Roger, little 6 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jacobson, died Saturday from an enlarged heart. He had been ill for some time and was taken to Des Moines Friday afternoon. Roger was born Aug. 1, 1937 and was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Jacobson and with his parents made his home with Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Jacobson. Funeral services were here at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Gilbert Lutheran church with Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery 2 1/2 miles north of Gilbert. A number of relatives from Jewell and Ames were at the funeral. The many friends here sympathize with the parents in their bereavement.
