John Fitzgerald Will Be Buried at Colo Wednesday

Special to the Journal:
Colo, Oct. 18--The body of John J. Fitzgerald, 55, native son of this community, who died at St. Thomas hospital, Marshalltown, Sunday and will be laid to rest in St. James cemetery her Wednesday after funeral services at 9 a. m., at the Catholic church in Colfax, to which be belonged.

Fitzgerald, a former resident of Colo and State Center neighborhood, had been living at Colfax for some time.

Mr. Fitzgerald was born July 28, 1883, near Colo and married Josie Hartman at State Center in 1908. Besides his widow he is survived by six children, Joe, Rita and Margaret Fitzgerald of Colfax, Elmer and John, Jr. of Sioux City, and Harold of State Center, and two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Della Croker and Patrick Fitzgerald of Colo, Mrs. Mary Croker of Marshalltown and William Fitzgerald of Conrad.
