Funeral Rites On Saturday in Calif. For Former Nevadan

Funeral services for Theron H. Case, 55, former Nevadan who died Tuesday morning in the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Hillside Church, Rosehill cemetery, southeast of Whittier.

Burial will be in the Rosehill cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Theron Case left Nevada for Huntington, Calif. in January of 1957 where he was employed by the Huntington Park Engineering Department until suffering a stroke and becoming a patient in the Veteran's Hospital in Long Beach, Calif.

After recovering sufficiently he was permitted to make several trips to Nevada, accompanied by his wife, to visit his mother, Mrs. Effie Case; his brother, Perry Case and Nevada friends. The last of these trips was made in June of this year, re-entering the Veteran's Hospital on his return to California.

Theron Case was born in Mason City to Mrs. Effie Case, and the late Charles H. Case, May 14, 1907, the family moving later to Nevada. On June 10, 1931 Theron was united in marriage to Miss Betty Lucas of Boone, establishing their home in Nevada.

For 20 years Theron was employed as assistant in the Story County Engineer's office. Later, he purchased an interest in the Ames Engineering and Testing Service, disposing of this interest before moving to California five and a half years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lucas Case of Huntington Park, Calif. and by his mother, Mrs. Effie Case and brother, Perry Case of 1105 Eighth St., Nevada.
