Funeral Services At Colo Sat. For William Sinnott

William Sinnott, 88, former Collins farmer, died Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Beaver Dam, Wisc. where he had been a patient the past 11 months.

Sinnott was born March 4, 1884 in New York City, New York, son of Pierce and Mary Sinnott. For the past 85 years he was a resident of Story County with the exception of the past five years spent in Beaver Dam, Wisc. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Sinnott was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sister, one son Pierce and his wife, who died in 1958.

Survivors include a son, Harold W. Sinnott of Maxwell; a daughters Mrs. Roy (Genevieve) Butler of Beaver Dam, Wisc.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo, Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. A. A. McAvoy officiating. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery at Colo. Rosary services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home Friday evening at 8 p.m.
