Z. G. Stillman, 76 Dies at Hospital Here Early Today

Z. G. Stillman, 521 Seventh St. died at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the Story County Hospital where he had been a patient for the past four days.

Death was due to a stroke. He was 76 years old.

Stillman was born Nov. 9, 1885, in Story County, the son of E. O. and Anetta Hemstock Stillman, and had lived in Story County his entire lifetime. He was a retired farmer.

He was married to Myrtle C. Stubblefield, January 12, 1921, in Nevada.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife Myrtle; three sons, Harold of Fort Worth, Tex., Frank, of Columbus, Miss., and Howard of Algona; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. W. R. Tuttle officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
