DEATHS
MILDRED PRITCHARD
Mildred Pritchard was born near Collins IA in the home of Henry C. and Clara Hall Denniston on Dec. 31, 1899. She grew up in Collins, attended the Collins School, and joined the Methodist Church when very young.
She was a charter member of the Collins Garden Club and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was married to Orpheus Pritchard in Reno NV in 1956. He died in 1962. She continued to live in Collins until overcome by arthritis then went to live in the Rebekah-Odd Fellows Home in Mason City IA in 1975. That was her home until December, 1984, when she was moved to a home in Mount Pleasant IA to be near her niece, Linda (Carson) Wilkening and her family.
Death came Jan. 2, 1987. She leaves two sisters, Frances Gilley of Collins and Ethelynd Irwin of Napa CA, four nieces, Naomi Pointer of Huxley IA, Jo Ann Silverman of Napa CA, Linda Wilkening of Mt. Pleasant and Marilyn Ferguson of Lacey IA; two nephews, Norman Long of Napa CA and Donald Gilley of Creston IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Forrest Carson.

Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ferguson of Lacey, Sina Hall of Nevada IA, Donald Gilley of Creston, Naomi Pointer of Huxley and Ethelynd Irwin of Napa CA.
