Mrs. Hattie Arnett Die in Hospital After Long Illness

Mrs. Hattie L. Arnett, 87, of the Gilmore Nursing Home died Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Story County Hospital following an illness of two or three year.

She was born, April 28, 1873 at Iowa Center, a daughter of Henry and Laura Tetwiler. She had lived the most of her life in Story County.

On Jan. 14, 1890 she was married to Frank O. Arnett in Nevada. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Elder O. P. Jones officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery. The body will rest at the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of services.

Surviving are four sons, Frank of Nevada, Archie of Yuba, Wis., Ernest of Paso Robles, Calif. and Earl Arnett of San Luis Obispo, Calif. Four daughters, Mrs. Avis Johnson of Litchfield, Minn., Mrs. Clarence Luther of Marathon, Mrs. Lloyd Phillips of Salem, Oregon and Mrs. Thomas Evans of Paso Robles, Calif. She also leaves one brother, Ernie Tetwiler of Washington State, one sister, Mrs. Mary Foot of Alabama. She leaves 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and six great, great grandchildren.
