Services Held Jan. 26th For Cecil K. Simpson at Maxwell
Funeral services for Cecil K. Simpson were held Wednesday Jan. 20 at 2 p. m. at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell with Rev. J. E. McClellan of the Cambridge Methodist Church in charge.
Music was furnished by Madeline Summitt.
Mrs. Earl McHone and Mrs. John Scott were in charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were Harry Cairns, Maurice Warren, Kenneth Wilson, Kermit Griffith, Earl McHone and John Scott. Burial was in White Oak cemetery.
Obituary
Cecil Keith Simpson, son of William S. and Mary B. Simpson was born Aug. 30, 1897 and passed away Jan. 18, 1960 at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 18 days.
He was born in White Oak and lived his entire life in that area as a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marie and Anna. He is survived by two brothers, Clarence, with whom he made his home, and Art of Cambridge, three sisters, Lola Elliott of Perry, Iowa, Maggie Sesker of Cambridge and Florence Louks of Dodge Center, Minn.; also several niece and nephews.
He was baptized and had joined the Cambridge Methodist Church in 1915.
