WELL KNOWN WIFE AND MOTHER VICTIM OF TUBERCULOSIS FUNERAL TODAY.

Mrs. Charles P. Hartman died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Nellie M. Vinje, where the family have been making their home for some months, at an early hour Tuesday morning, from tuberculosis. The report of the death of Mrs. Hartman came as a great shock to the members of the family, as well as the friends and neighbors, who had little realized that the end was so near.

The funeral was held this afternoon from the home, corner Main and Avenue G, and interment was in the Vinje lot in the Nevada cemetery. Dr. Swihart of Memorial Lutheran church had charge of the service.

Mrs. Hartman was born Bertha Vinje, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Vinje, in this city, july 9, 1884. She graduated from the Nevada schools and on April 15, 1908 was married to Charles P. Harman. Three children were born to this union and they with the husband are left to mourn the death of the wife and mother. The children are Barbara, the daughter, and Charles Jr., and John.

They lived in Nevada for a few years following their marriage but about eight years ago left here and moved upon a farm near Lake View where they lived until about a year ago when they moved back to Nevada.

She leaves besides her husband and children, two sisters, Miss Nellie M. Vinje of this city, and Mrs. Lulu Kempkes of near Fernald and one brother, Arthur T. Vinje of Chicago.
