Funeral Services for Mrs. Zumwalt Thursday Afternoon

Cambridge, August 31--Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Zumwalt, 44, Cambridge woman who died at the University hospital at Iowa City early Monday, will be held from the Adams Funeral chapel at Ames Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. McLaughlin in charge.

Mrs. Zumwalt, whose maiden name was McCannon, was born at Numa, in Appanoose county, November 4, 1892 and came to Ames in 1910.

She was married to Ed Zumwalt at Adel in 1928. After living in Ames for a number of years they moved to Cambridge three years ago.

Surviving her husband and three children Donald, Charlotte and Janet, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George T. McCannon of Mercedes, Tex., three brothers, Guy of Centerville, Glen of Idaho, and Elmer of Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Dunham of Pasadena, Cal.
