Funeral Services for Harry Rebman Held Monday Afternoon

Funeral services for the late Harry Rebman, 74, former Story county man, who died at Nevada, Mo., Saturday, were held at the Bishop Funeral home here Monday afternoon, with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill in charge.

The songs were by Mrs. H. E. Jacobs and Mrs. Harry Lough with Mrs. Norman Dobson at the piano.

The funeral home was well filled with old neighbors and friends of the deceased. Interment was in the Nevada cemetery.

Harry Elmer Rebman, son of David and Hannah Rebman, was born at Claypool, Indiana, April 4, 1863 and passed away at his home in Nevada, Mo., August 21, 1937 at the age of 74 years, four months and 17 days. Mr. Rebman grew to manhood in the vicinity of Claypool, Indiana and on April 23, 1892 was united in marriage to Ena Whiteman of Gridley, Illinois. One daughter, Leota, was born to this union.

Immediately they came to Iowa, and for many years lived on a farm in the vicinity of Fernald.

In 1921 the family moved to Minnesota, living there until 932 when they move to their present home in Nevada, Missouri.

He became a member of the Church of the Brethren and remained always faithful to that belief.

H was a loving and considerate husband and father, a loyal friend and neighbor, only those who knew him best know how he will be missed.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Ena Rebman; and daughter, Leota; one brother, William Rebman of Warsaw, Indiana; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives, and a host of friends.
