OBITUARY
Death of Clifford Kuhn
Mr. and Mrs. George Kuhn* on Thursday forenoon, received a telegram from their daughter in law, in Los Angeles announcing the death of their grandson Clifford Kuhn. He had been operated upon at the California Hospital on Wednesday at 10 a. m. and died that evening at 11:40. Clifford Kuhn was born June 23rd, 1892 at Marcus, Iowa and was therefore 23 years 4 month and 18 days old at his death. He was an intelligent and industrious young man, the only child and support of his mother. He had been book keeper in Swift's packing house in Los Angles and lived with his mother, Mrs. Elvira Peters* at 900 South Olive street in that city. Mrs. Peters is well known to many here and will have the heartfelt sympathy of all in this her sad bereavement.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Clifford Shearer Kuhn was the son of George Morton Kuhn and Elvira Goodburn. The parents apparently divorced. Elvira remarried in 1904 to Nathaniel Peters and is thus referred to in this obit as Mrs. Peters. The father, George, is buried in Nevada, Iowa and the name on his stone is G. Morton Kuhn.
