Woman Suicides Near Zearing.

Mrs. Ben Swenson [should be Swanson], living a mile south of Zearing on the Polk Elliott farm, took Paris green Tuesday afternoon with suicidal intent and died Thursday afternoon. She had been in disturbed mental condition for a long time, and her husband had taken her once to Europe an had her cared for much in sanitariums. She was bout to go to "Hill's Retreat" in Des Moines for further attention, when she succeeeded in the course indicated. A sister and husband from Ottawa, Illinois, were advised of her attempted suicide and arrived before she died.
