Doris Evelyn Thompson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson Jr., was born June 28, 1916 and passed from this life early Tuesday morning Sept. 12, 1916 aged two months and fifteen days. Death was due to dysentery. All that skill and loving hearts and hands could o was of no avail and after an illness if thirty six hours the little one passed away to be with Him who said "Suffer the children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the Kingdom of Heaven." The parents, two brothers and two sisters besides many other relatives and friends are left to mourn the loss of the precious baby. Funeral services were held in the U. E. church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. W. C. McKinley who chose for his text 2 Sam. 12:23. The little form was tenderly laid to rest in the Colo Cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
