THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 28, 2005.

Janice McCormick-Heffron, 64, of Ariz., died Monday, July 25, in Phoenix. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clinton, Iowa.

Janice Kay McCormick-Heffron was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Churdan. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Catholic church.

She is survived by her parents, Jim and Thelma Nichols of Clinton; her children, Alicia Heffron of Indiana, Scott Cosman of Ames, Randy Cosman of Texas, and Beth Cosman of Missouri; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Steve Nichols of West Virginia.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Lemke Funeral Home North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St., in Clinton.
