THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 28, 2005.

Fred Kaltenheuser, 82, of Phoenix, and formerly of Ames, died Friday, July 15.

Funeral services were Friday, July 22, at the Green Acres funeral Chapel in Scottsdale, Ariz., with burial following at the Green Acres Mausoleum.

He was survived by his wife, Doris; daughter, Mary Anne; and three sisters, Evelyn Benn of Story City, Eva Mae Tett of Ames and Jean Klein of Greenville, N.C.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
