Mrs. M. M. Shearer received the sad news of the death of her uncle Dick McClees at his home at Tryon, Neb., Jan. 28th. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and five children besides many other relatives and friends. His children are all in homes of their own excepting the youngest son who is still in the parental home. Mr. McClees and family lived in this vicinity several years ago and still have many friends here who extend sympathy to the bereaved ones.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. M. M. Shearer was Julia Etta McCleese, wife of Michael Melville Shearer. She was the daughter of William McCleese and Amy Shearer. William McCleese and Richard McClees were the sons of Alexander McClees and Phoebe Ricketts.
