Orville Moler, aged 18, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Moler of Nashua, died at the St. Thomas Hospital at Marshalltown, Friday morning at 12:45 from blood poisoning. He was taken ill of lagrippe Dec. 29 near Zearing where he had been working for Fred Young. From there, he was removed to the home of his uncle, John Campbell, and his illness developed into pneumonia, then a gas infection of the left arm and breast resulted. Saturday, Jan. 15th he was taken to the hospital where the infected arm was opened and drained but the infection had become so general that it could not be combatted. Orville Moler was born on the Moler farm, tow and one half miles south of Marshalltown, October 25, 1897. Four years ago next March the family moved to Nashua. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moler is survived by one sister and three brothers. They are Mrs. H. M. Mead, Henry and Lyle Moler of Nashua and Floyd Moler of Marshalltown.
