RUSSELL TOOKER PASSES AWAY

Russell Eugene Tooker was born May 6, 1900 and died February 18, 1918, at the home of his grandfather, R. B. Tooker. The young man had been sick for several weeks suffering from typhoid fever which was the cause of his death. It will be remembered that his father died only a few weeks ago of the same disease. Russell was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Tooker and after his father's death he was manfully planning to shoulder the burden of the support of his widowed mother and younger members of the family when he was overtaken by the illness which was his last. He had many friends among the younger people and some of them ---- during his sickness. (The remainder of the article is unreadable.)
