Funeral Service For Mrs. Jennett Held Friday, A.M.
Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Jennett were held from St. Patrick's Catholic church Friday morning, Dec. 4, at 10:00 a. m. with the Rev. J. J. Brickley officiating.
St. Patrick's choir composed of Mrs. George Konec, Mr.s Ries Prati, Mrs. Lester Meimann with Mrs. Lawrence Doser at the organ furnished the music.
The casket bearers were John Andrew, William Long Richard Maliet, Ralph Smith and Paul Wheelock.
Burial was in the St. Patrick's Catholic cemetery.
Obituary
Catherine Maliet was born near Zearing, Aug. 26, 1890, daughter of Nicholas and Ann Maliet. She had been a resident of Nevada for the past six years.
On Oct. 4, 1912 she was married to Hugh Jennett at Zearing. She was a member of ST. Patrick's Catholic church.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald Jennett of Nevada and Dr. Raymond Jennett of Phoenix, Ariz., and one daughtr, Mrs. Lawrence E. Horn of Birmingham, Ala.
She also leaves five brothers, Henry Maliet and Charles Maliet of Nevada, Mike Maliet of Des Moines, D. M. Maliet of Kelley, Nick Maliet of Fairmont, Minn. and two sisters, Mrs. B. A. Wheelock of Zearing, an Mrs. Anna Brock of Jefferson. Fourteen grandchildren also survive.
The last illness of the Catherine Jennett covered the past year. Her death, due to cancer, occurred at ther home in Nevada, 1318 Eleventh street, Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the age of 69 years.
