George J. Lantz Died Sunday A.M. At Home in Nevada

George J. Lantz, 72, passed away at his home, 904 Seventh Sunday morning at 4:30 a.m. He had been in failing health for the past five years.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. with the Rev. E. P. Windman officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Colo cemetery.

Mr. Lantz was born near Colo May 10, 1875, a son of Adam and Anna Lantz. He had lived his entire life in Story county.

A retired farmer, Mr. Lantz and his sisters retired from the farm and moved into Nevada where one of the sisters passed away Sept. 1 of this year.

He is survived by his sister Margaret Lantz and by a number of nephews and nieces.
