Obituary of Mrs. Davisson

Grace Eleanor Boozel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Boozel was born at Earlville, Illinois, October 25, 1873 and died at Faith, South Dakota, January 26, 1912 aged 39 years, 3 months and 1 day.

She was united in marriage to Murlin J. Davisson December 19, 1889 at Ottawa, Illinois. To them were born nine children, of who eight are still living. Besides the husband and children she leaves her father and mother, four sisters and two brothers, with other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. The family lived here for thirteen years going to Des Moines and then to Faith, South Dakota about two years ago. Mrs. Davisson was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church also a member of the order of Eastern Star. The funeral was held here Sunday February 4, at two p. m. from the Evangelical church. Rev. C. H. Stauffacher, pastor of the local church having charge. Interment was in the family lot in the Zearing cemetery. To the sorrowing ones is extended the sympathy of their many friends. M. J. Davisson and daughters Hazel and Gertrude, Mrs. H. Boozel and son, Harry, and Mrs. Delancy were in attendance at the funeral.
