Orley G. Reese Died Suddenly At Zearing

Zearing, Aug. 1 Orley Garland Reese, 60, died last night at 11:30 while in the office of Dr. Hall when he stopped for consultation while being taken to the hospital in Marshalltown. Mr. Reese, unmarried, and his sister, Mrs. Glen McBride with whom he makes his home, had gone to Eldora earlier in the day when he became ill and saw a doctor before retuning home.

On his return home he did not improve and was to be taken to the hospital when the call at the doctor's office was made.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Mr. Reese was born west of Zearing Dec. 8, 1887. He was engaged in the shoe repair business in Zearing.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Milo Havens of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Lee Moore and Mrs. Glen McBride of Zearing and one brother Merlin Reese of Leeds, S. D.
