John V. Hover Died This Morning at Daughter's Home

John V. Hover, 85, passed away this morning at 6:15 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. D. Clifford in Milford township.

He had been in ill health for several years, but bedfast only one day.

Born January 21, 1862 at Jo Davis county, Ill., a son of William and Elizabeth Hover, he had lived the most of his life at Wheatfield, Ia. in Clinton county. Since the death of his wife, Sept. 16, 1929, he had made his home with his daughter.

He is survived by his daughter Dorothy, Mrs. H. D. Clifford of Milford township and by one grandson, Clayton Clifford.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10:30 with Rev. O. E. Cooley, officiating. Burial will be by the side of the wife in the Rose Hill cemetery at Calamus.
