Mrs. Lola V. Sperow formerly of Nevada dies Monday morning

A former Nevada woman, Mrs. Lola V. Sperow, 81, died Monday morning at the Danville Iowa Community Home where she had been a resident for the past two years.

Services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Marvin Hulse will officiate with burial in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund for Mrs. Sperow has been established.

Born July 25, 1895 in Montezuma, Ia. to J.J. and Sarah Rodgers, she was the widow of the late Dr. W.B. Sperow, a former Nevada doctor and surgeon who died in 1960. She has been a resident of Burlington for the past 13 years.

Survivors include a son, Dr. William R. Sperow of Burlington, one grandson, one granddaughter and a nephew.
