COLO NEWS

N. E. Cox was born in Pickaway, Ohio, October 21, 1834, living there until he was 18 years of age. He then moved with his parent to Tippecanoe county, Ind. in 1853. On December 2, 1858, he was united in marriage with Theodosia Wright. Most of their married life was spent on a farm in Story county To this union were born 14 children. Mrs. Cox died in 1886. Seven daughters and four sons, 37 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one brother remain to mourn the loss of a loving father and brother. Mr. Cox joined the Methodist church when very young and later moving to Story county transferred his membership to the Evangelical church. After having been confined to his bed for nine months, during which time he was always patient and cheerful, he passed away at Ocheydan July 12, 1921, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 21 days.
