ACCIDENT VICTIM BURIED TODAY

FUNERAL FOR MR. GOOD HELD AT RHODES AT 2 O'CLOCK THIS AFTERNOON

Funeral services for George I. M. Good, 53, Rhodes man, who died here Sunday evening from injuries sustained 48 hours before when he was struck by a motor car, while walking down the paving on Lincoln Way, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal church in Rhodes. The pastor, Rev. E. K. Parrot was in charge and interment was in the Rhodes cemetery.

Mr. Good, a pioneer of the southeast corner of Story county, was a native of Brooklyn, where he was born September 19, 1878. The family moved to near Collins about 45 years ago, living on a farm east of that place, near the county line.

Mr. Good married Blanche Wilson, of Rhodes, Dec. 10, 1901. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Mrs. Emma Grimmonpre, Walter Good and Miss Ethyelyn Good, all of Rhodes; six grandchildren, and a sister and a brother, Mrs. Charles Wignall and G. W. Good of Rhodes.

Mr. Good had owned and operated a farm until a few years ago when he moved into Rhodes, since which time he had worked at carpentering or tiling.

When Mr. Good, who head been in Nevada as a witness in a district court case, was struck down by a car driven by Archie Arnett, the young man hastened to report the accident to the sheriff. Sheriff Hattery identified the unconscious man and apparently seriously injured man, as Mr. Good, an acquaintance. He was hurried to Iowa sanitarium and his family notified. He never regained consciousness and died Sunday evening about 9:30.
