MRS. CORNELEUSSEN* DIED AT STORY CITY
WELL KNOWN PIONEER WOMAN PASSED AWAY 6 P. M. SATURDAY

Story City, Feb. 9--Mrs. S. R. Cornileussen*, 74, died at her home here late Saturday, as a result of a stroke of paralysis suffered about the middle of December, coupled with heart complications.The funeral services for this well known pioneer woman will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Grace church, after which interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Cornileussen, whose maiden name was Dorothy Johnsen, was born in Denmark, November 27, 1857, being the oldest of six children. The family came to America in 1867 and located near Story City, where she was married to Mrs. Cornileussen on Christmas, 1875. They lived for two years in Nevada, after which they returned to Story City, where the husband engaged in the merchantile business in which he continued for many years.
It was about 11 years ago that the husband died and one daughter Carie, died about 20 years ago.
The other daughter Mrs. Mamie Schwendener lived with the mother and attended her during her final days. The one son Fred C. Cornilessen lives near Story City.
She also leaves two sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Mary Strong of Des Moines and Mrs. Christine Danielson of Chicago, while the brothers are J. C. and C. F. Johnson of near Story City.
