COLLINS RESIDENT DIED AT GRINNELL
EVERETT FRISBEE, 49, VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK--FUNERAL TUESDAY
Special to the Journal.
Collins, June 6--Funeral services will be held at the Collins Church of Christ, Tuesday at 1:30, for Everett Frisbee, 49, who died at the home of his daughter at Grinnell Saturday morning at 4:30. The services will be in charge of Rev. John Adamson. From here the body will be taken to the old family burying ground between Eldora and Berlin.Mr. Frisbee was at the home of his daughter Mrs. Loyd Lindstrom at Grinnell when he suffered a heart attack and passed away. The boy was brought to Collins Saturday and is at the home of Mrs. Frisbee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wescott, where it will be held pending the service.
The deceased was born at Dows, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris P. Frisbee. The mother died when he was a small child and he was taken into the home of his grandparents near Berlin, where he was raised.
He was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Wescott at Collins, September 25, 1906 and to them four children were born and with the wife survive. They are Mrs. Loyd Lindstrom of Grinnell, Eugene Frisbee of Bellingham, Wash., and Gretchen and Willmar of Collins. He also leaves a brother Harold Frisbee, both of Bellingham and a sister Mrs. Ruth Wishmand of Seattle.
The family lived in Collins for some time, after which they lived at other points, but returned to Collins in February from Council Bluffs. Mr. Frisbee was a leather worker by trade and had always been employed in harness shops.
