FRANK WOODWARD DIED EARLY TODAY

FARMER OF NEAR COLO VICTIM OF STROKE; FUNERAL SUNDAY

Colo, June 2--Frank Woodward, 73, died at his farm home two miles south of Colo this morning, following a stroke of apoplexy suffered a week ago and from which he never recovered.

He leaves besides his wife, on adopted daughter, Mrs. Edna Oldfield of St. Paul.

He formerly lived at State Center, where his first wife died and about ten years ago he was married to Miss Florence Sawtell. They lived upon the old Sawtell homestead of Colo.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon. There will be a prayer service at the home, after which the funeral will take place at 2:30 at the Methodist church in Colo. Interment will be in the cemetery at State Center.

Mr. Woodward was born January 2, 1859.
