HENRY BULLOCK DEAD AT COLLINS

LONG-TIME RESIDENT OF THE STATE CENTER NEIGHBORHOOD DIED

Special to the Journal.
Collins, March 7--Henry Bullock, 77, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. William Wilkening of northeast of Collins Saturday morning.

The funeral service will be held at the Catholic church in State Center Tuesday morning at 10:00 and interment will be in the Catholic cemetery there.

Mr. Bullock had been making his home with the daughter since the death of his wife January 12, 1931.

The deceased was a native of New Sandwich, Ill., where he was born May 7, 1854. He came out to Iowa with his parents when he was yet a boy and the settled on a farm near State Center.

He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Dolan, February 21, 1882 and six children were born to them. Two of the daughters, Mrs. Agnes Swinbank and Mrs. Emma Smith preceded the parents in death.

The four children left to mourn the passing of the parents are Mrs. Anna Hart of State Center, Mrs. Lyda Swinbank of near Collins, Thomas Bullock of near Colo and Mrs. Sadie Wilkening of near Collins.

He also leaves two brothers, Franklin Bullock of North Dakota and William Bullock of State Center.

With the exception of about two years spent in Wyoming, Mr. Bullock had always had his home in the State Center neighborhood, since coming to Iowa with his parents as a boy.
