Funeral Services for Mrs. L. B. Miller

Funeral services for Mrs. L. B. Miller, 47, who died Monday at her home southwest of Nevada, were held at the the home and the boy will be taken to Dahlgren, Illinois, for interment. The services were in charge of Rev. John Deedrick of the Nevada Evangelical church, Nevada.

Mary Florence Miller, daughter of George and Mary Florence Miller, was born in Hamilton county, Illinois, November 7, 1886. Passed away at her home four miles northeast of Cambridge, June 12, 1933, at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 5 days.

She was united in marriage to L. B. Miller, at Dahlgren, Illinois, April 5, 1906.

She leaves besides her husband, seven children, two granddaughters, four sisters and four brothers. The children are Lyle, George, Vernon, Glenard, Wayne, Eva and Mary Frances. Two infant daughters and a son Owen [should be Orlin] having preceded her in death.

The sisters are Mrs. Cynthia Cates, Mrs. Clara Moore of Dahlgren, Illinois, Mrs. Maggie Upchurch, Mrs. Inez Miller of Zearing, Chas. Miller of Zearing, Hugh Miller of Des Moines, John Miller of Valier, Illinois and Gideon Miller of Alma, Missouri.

Sixteen years ago the family moved from Dahlgren, Illinois to Zearing where they made their home until two years ago, when they moved to their present home. She was kind and loving wife and mother. She will be missed by her family and relatives, friends and neighbors.
