Charles Morfoot, Local Businessman, Died This Morning

Charles E. Morfoot, 774 J avenue, a longtime Nevada businessman, died at his home early this morning.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Dixon Funeral home, with the Rev. E. P. Windman in charge. Committal will be in the family lot in Perry.

Charles Morfoot was born near Mason City, Ill., Aug. 20, 1863. At the age of two he moved with his parents to Chandlerville, Ill. In 1872, at nine years of age, the family moved to Perry, Ia.

Married

On Sept. 16, 1886, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth R. Emery. Two sons were born to this union, Walter A. who passed away at the age of 13 months, and Clarence E. of Nevada.

Mrs. Morfoot passed away May 30, 1933. He was then united in marriage to Mrs. May Kinsey on Sept. 7, 1935.

Surviving are his wife, one son Clarence and three step-children.
