Little Robert Johnson Died Saturday Evening
Little Robert Lundy Johnson, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myrl Johnson of north of Nevada died Saturday afternoon and funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 at the Bishop Funeral home, after which interment was in the Nevada cemetery. Rev. Sumstadt of Roland was in charge. The boy, whose age was 9 years, 6 months and 21 days had been a invalid since a babe. He was born on the Lundy farm north of Nevada, the mother being Miss Lola Lundy of this city, before her marriage to Mr. Johnson. The parents, grandparents and other relatives will receive the sympathy of the community in their hours of bereavement.
Robert was a frail child from birth and while everything within human power was done for him the Master saw fit to call him home. He was always a patient little sufferer with a kind sweet disposition, always eager and willing to assist in every way those who were caring for him.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, one brother, Larry, his grandparent, Mr. and Mrs. John Lundy of Nevada and Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Johnson of Blue Earth, Minn., together with other relatives and friends.
