THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, December 27, 1894. “CROSS ROADS – Dr. Hawk’s son, of Colfax, committed suicide last week by taking morphine. He was 21 years of age, out of employment and discouraged.”
