NEWSPAPER SOURCE AND DATE UNKNOWN - "OBITUARY - Mary Tomlinson was born October 16, 1835 in England and died at her home in Edna, Texas, on January 17, 1917, being 81 years, 8 months and 1 day old. At the age of three years she came with her parents to Lock Berlin, New York, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage, at the age of twenty years, to Aaron Coolidge, who died three years later. Two children were born to this union, W. H. Coolidge of Agra, Kansas, and Mrs. A. Andrews of Belmond, Iowa. On October 21, 1861, she was married to Theodore Wiegand at Lock Berlin, New York. To them eleven children were born: Mrs. W. C. Braley of Azusa, California; Mrs. Amelia Wilson of Rantoul, Illinois; Mrs. F. E. Kennedy of Grinnell, Iowa; John T. Wiegand of Kansas City, Missouri; Wyman M. Wiegand of Belmond, Iowa; Mrs. C. N. Reese of Belmond, Iowa; Karl Wiegand of Edna, Texas; and Burton Wiegand of Edna Texas, three having died in infancy. Soon after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wiegand moved to Madison county, Wisconsin, where they lived until the fall of 1866, when they came to Jasper county, Iowa, locating on a prairie farm three miles north of Kellogg. In 1882, they sold their farm and moved to Belmond, Iowa and in 1908 they moved to Edna, Texas, where she live until the time of her death. Mr. Wiegand died on March 3, 1914. Mrs. Wiegand united with the Congregational church in Belmond, Iowa, later placing her membership with the Methodist church of that city. While living in the vicinity of Kellogg she mad many friends and was respected and love by all who knew her.
