Mrs. Squires Died at Home of Her Son at Colo Today

Colo, July 2--Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Squires, 77, died at the home of her son, Kenneth Squires here today at 11:30 a. m. after a period of two years, the past year and half of which she had spent in the home of the son.

The children were all here at the time of death and it has been determined that burial will be at Rolfe by the side of the husband, although definite funeral arrangements have not been made.

Her maiden name was Mary Elizabeth Moore and she was born at Kenton, Ohio, November 26, 1857. She came to Iowa with her parents when a child of three years and was raised in the Iowa Center neighborhood, where she was married in December, 1881, to Harry K. Squires They moved to Rolfe in 1884 and there she lived until after the husband died and until about a year and a half ago when she returned to the home of her son, Kenneth in Colo.

She leaves a son, Glen M. Squires at Harnick, Iowa, a daughter Mrs. Jesse Fay Schon at Baltimore and the son Kenneth of Colo. One son, Allen Leslie Squires died in infancy.
