THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, August 22, 1935, page _, column _. "MRS. F. M. WHITE DIES. - Mrs. F. M. White, 59, died at her home, near Farrar, Tuesday, near the noon hour, after an illness of a year's duration. She had been bedfast the past six months. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the Maxwell Christian church with burial in the family lot in the Maxwell cemetery. The obituary will appear in The Tribune next week."

THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, August 29, 1935, page 1, column 2. "MRS. F. M. WHITE - Jennettie Reagan was born January 12, 1876, in Story county, Iowa, the daughter of David and Martha Reagan, pioneer settlers of this community and has lived her entire life in this community, except six years which was spent in Minnesota. She was married to F. M. White February 18, 1892, and to this union was born twelve children, one son, Ralph, preceding her in death. There is left eleven children to share with the husband and father, the loss of a kind and loving mother and helpmate. The children are Mrs. Martha Green, Glen White, Mrs. Lorena Griffith, L. R. White, Gale and John, of Maxwell; Mrs. Anna Kirby, of Ames; Asa White, of Nevada; Mrs. Pauline Griffith and Max White, of Churdan, and Mrs. Lola Wilkinson, of Des Moines, and fourteen grandchildren, one brother, Welden Reagan, of Maxwell; one sister, Mrs. Victoria Kline, of Ames and a host of neighbors and friends. She united with the local Church of Christ in March 1890, when services were held in the town hall and is one of the last of the charter members. She departed this life August 2_, 1935, at the age of 59 years, seven months and eight days, after a lingering illness of over a year, being bed fast the last five months. She bore her illness with a smile and always had a cheery word for those who were privileged to care for her. All that loving hand could do, was willingly done. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Church of Christ at Maxwell. Rev. Chas. Neel, of Des Moines, being in charge, taking for his text the 14th chapter of John. The music, furnished by a mixed quarter, composed of Mrs. Henry Thornwall, Miss Betty Scott, H. E. Fackler and Dorus** Myers sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "God Will Take Care of You." Rev. J. Ivan La Favre sang "In the Garden, as a solo. Mrs. N. A. Peadson presided at the piano. The beautiful floral arrangement was under supervision of Mrs. V. T. Moore and Miss Eva Lowe. Pall bearers included C. D. Maxwell, Boyd Maxwell, A. E. Harris, Ray Robertson, Ray DeReus and Ralph Poorbaugh. Burial took place in the family lot in the Maxwell cemetery by the side of her son.
