THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 4, 1971, page 1, column 2. “RALPH C. WEBB – Ralph C. Webb, 86, passed away at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, where he had been a patient for 2 weeks. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and three daughters, Mrs. Arlene Gordon of Ankeny, Margaret Olinger of Maxwell and Mrs. Alice Luther of Pico Rivera, Calif. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 1:30 p.m., in the Maxwell Methodist Church, with Rev. Dale Ellsworth officiating. Interment in the Nevada Cemetery.”
