Funeral Services for Mrs. Harker

Special to the Journal.
Cambridge, Feb. 28--Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Harker, 75, who died February 19, at the home of a daughter at Fort Dodge, was held from the Methodist Episcopal church in Cambridge Monday afternoon, with Rev. C. W. Hohenshelt in charge.

A solo by Rev. J. Wesley Peterson and numbers by a mixed quartette consisting of Dr. Houser, C. M. Webb, Mrs. J. Spragg and Miss Doris Hubbard constituted the musical numbers.

During her residence in Cambridge Mr. Harker had been a member of the United Brethren and later the Community church of Cambridge and also of the Daughters of Rebekahs.

Mary A. Harker whose maiden name was Mary A. Cronk, was born at Bloomfield. Morrow county, Ohio, Feb. 16th, 1860, and died Feb. 23, 1935, at 528 South 19th St., Fort Dodge, Ia. at the age of 75 years and 7 days. She was married to Daniel P. Harker, May 16, 1878, and to this union five children were born Willie A. died at the age of 8 years.

Daniel A. of Fort Dodge, Ia., Blanche J. Mitchell, Fort Dodge, Harry L. Cambridge and Chester C. of Sunnyside, Washington, all of whom were at the bedside when she died. She has on brother, Will Cronk of Cambridge and three grandchildren, John, William and Naomi Harker of Cambridge and Richard Dean Harker of Sunnyside, Washington.

She came to Cambridge in the year 1878 where she resided until four years ago. She went to Fort Dodge to make her home with her daughter.
