BODY INTERRED IN NEVADA CEMETERY
MANGLED REMAINS GATHERED UP AND LAID TO REST
The mangles remains of the unidentified stranger who met tragic death on the Northwestern a mile this side of Ames, early Wednesday, were interred in the Nevada cemetery late Wednesday afternoon. Story county officers attended the service which was in charge of Rev. John M. Kennedy of Central Presbyterian church.
The body, which had been ground up under the wheels of one and possibly more trains, had been gathered up at various point along the right-of-way. But small portions of the missing head were found, while the torso had been cut in two and the arms and legs were severed.
One hand was found to sufficiently intact that finger print might be taken to send to the federal department of identification in Washington.
